PLATFORM CAPABILITIES
What C3VIAI + SAEF Does
Six integrated capabilities that take a handheld Raman identification at a checkpoint all the way through cross-location correlation, evidence organization, GC/MS contaminant attribution, and a supervisor-reviewed attribution hypothesis.
Handheld Raman Integration
Field identification → structured record
Ingest Raman spectroscopy identifications from checkpoint instruments. Each event is recorded with substance name, confidence score, instrument ID, container reference, vehicle, operator, DTG, and a chain-of-custody identifier. Events are immediately available for correlation and case assignment.
Cross-Checkpoint Correlation
Separate finds → explainable connection
Associate chemically related precursor materials found at geographically separated checkpoints. The correlation engine scores each candidate match using weighted contributing factors — spectral similarity, vehicle overlap, timing proximity, and shared route segments — and presents the reasoning transparently for analyst review.
SAEF Case Workspace
Evidence → organized investigative case
Open a SAEF case and assemble all relevant material in one workspace: Raman events, vehicles, persons, shipping manifests, and laboratory results. Full chain-of-custody tracking is maintained throughout. Cases move through a structured review workflow before any report is issued.
GC/MS Contaminant Attribution
Chromatographic profile → ranked hypotheses
Review chromatographic peak profiles from GC/MS analysis. The attribution engine compares contaminant signatures against reference profiles and produces ranked probabilistic source-attribution hypotheses, each with contributing factors and a stated confidence level for analyst review.
Evidence Architecture Layer
Scattered records → structured evidence package
Organize evidentiary images, shipping manifests, instrument records, detention records, and chain-of-custody documentation into a structured evidence package. Each item is typed, timestamped, and linked to its originating event. A downloadable attribution report preview is generated from the assembled package.
Analyst-Reviewable Alerts
Automated flag → human decision
Priority-tiered alerts surface findings for analyst review. Each alert includes confidence level, supporting evidence, alternative hypotheses, and stated limitations. No action is taken without analyst approval. A supervisor review step is required before any report is issued or escalated.
END-TO-END WORKFLOW
From Field Scan to Attribution Hypothesis
Each step in the workflow is demonstrated with fully synthetic data. No real operational, law-enforcement, or government data is used at any point.
